Armenia Deputy Prime Minister To Attend Universiade Closing Ceremony In Shenzhen

On August 22nd, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister and Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan, paid a visit to Shenzhen, China to attend the closing ceremonies of the 26th Summer Universiade Games. He congratulated the entire Armenian team for their outstanding performances in judo, taekwondo, tennis, chess and for their gold medal in the weightlifting category.

Thereafter, Armen Gevorgyan along with the Armenian Ambassador to China Armen Sargsyan and the 14 athletes attended a party hosted in the area of Shekou by ChinaHay, the Armenian Community of China. Both Armenians from Armenia and China about 40 strong, shared a wonderful dinner followed by a dynamite Armenian dance party.

Out of the thousands of Armenians spread over China, ChinaHay counts hundreds members most of whom are in China for business purposes. ChinaHay is confident about the potential of its community in the world’s fastest growing economy and is working hard in setting up a growing number of increasingly important venues.
